THE EDITING STYLE SYSTEM — PROGRAM TERMS

1. THE PROGRAM

The Editing Style System is a six-week small-group coaching program designed to help photographers develop a clearer, more consistent and intentional editing style.

The program may include:

  • Weekly live group coaching sessions

  • Editing feedback and hot-seat coaching

  • Educational resources and reference materials

  • Guidance and support as you build your personalized Editing Style Guide

  • Access to session recordings

  • Private group support between live sessions in a dedicated program space

  • A bonus 1:1 session for founding cohort participants

The founding cohort is expected to begin the week of October 5, 2026.

Specific call dates, access details, onboarding materials and other program logistics will be provided separately before the program begins.

2. PROGRAM FEE + PAYMENT

The total investment for the founding cohort is $1,500.

If you select a payment plan, the payment plan is simply a way to divide the full program fee into installments. Selecting a payment plan is a commitment to the full $1,500 program fee, and all remaining installments are due according to the agreed payment schedule.

For the two-payment option:

  • First payment: $750

  • Final payment: $750 due September 30, 2026

Your first payment reserves your seat in the cohort.

3. CANCELLATIONS + REFUNDS

Because enrollment is limited and your registration reserves a seat in a small-group program, payments made toward The Editing Style System are non-refundable.

If you select a payment plan, withdrawing from or choosing not to participate in the program does not automatically cancel the remaining balance owed.

If an unexpected circumstance comes up before the program begins, please reach out as soon as possible. At Nina’s discretion, another arrangement, credit toward a future offering, or another mutually agreed solution may be considered on a case-by-case basis. An alternative arrangement is not guaranteed.

If Nina cancels The Editing Style System and the program cannot be provided as agreed, any program fees paid will be refunded.

4. ATTENDANCE + RECORDINGS

Live participation is encouraged, but I understand that participants are working photographers and may occasionally need to miss a session.

Program sessions may be recorded so participants can revisit the material or catch up on a missed session.

Recordings and program resources will remain available for at least six months following the conclusion of the program. Participants will be notified in advance of any changes to access.

Program recordings are provided only for enrolled participants and may not be downloaded for redistribution, shared publicly or privately with people outside the program, sold, copied or republished.

5. GROUP PRIVACY + CONFIDENTIALITY

The Editing Style System is designed to be a supportive environment where participants can openly discuss their work, creative challenges and businesses.

Participants agree to respect the privacy of the group.

You may not share, reproduce, or distribute outside the program:

  • Another participant’s photographs

  • Screenshots from group discussions or calls

  • Program recordings

  • Private conversations or personal or business information shared by another participant

  • Another participant’s critiques, feedback or work-in-progress materials

  • Another participant’s editing process, workflow, presets, settings, techniques, or other proprietary creative or business information

This does not prevent you from discussing your own experience, work or learning from the program.

6. PARTICPANT IMAGES

You retain ownership of photographs and other original creative work you submit to the program.

By submitting your own images, you give Nina permission to view, edit, display, and discuss those images privately within The Editing Style System for coaching and educational purposes.

You represent that you have the right to submit the images you provide for private coaching and educational review.

Submitting photographs to the program does not give Nina permission to use your work publicly for advertising, social media, portfolio use or other marketing purposes unless you separately agree to that use.

7. INSPIRATION + THIRD-PARTY REFERENCE IMAGES

Participants may use third-party photographs and other visual references within the private program for educational research, inspiration boards and style analysis.

These materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

Third-party reference images may not be represented as your own work or redistributed, published, or used commercially outside the private educational context of the program.

Their use within The Editing Style System is intended solely for private research, reference and educational discussion.

8. EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS + INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All original educational materials created by Nina for The Editing Style System, including worksheets, guides, videos, recordings, presentations, frameworks, teaching materials, demonstrations, and other program resources, are provided for your personal and internal business use only.

Program materials may include photographs or other creative work owned by Nina, her clients, program participants, or other third parties and used for educational demonstration or analysis. Access to those materials does not transfer any ownership, copyright, licensing, or usage rights to the photographs shown.

Program materials may not be reproduced, sold, licensed, distributed, published, uploaded, shared with others, or used to create substantially copied educational products without Nina’s written permission.

9. COACHING + RESULTS

The Editing Style System is designed to help you develop a clearer editing identity, make more intentional editing decisions, build your personalized Editing Style Guide, and create more consistent, recognizable galleries.

Through the program, Nina will provide coaching, education, feedback, critique, resources, and opportunities to apply what you are learning to your own images and editing process.

Because every participant enters the program with different experience, work, goals, shooting conditions, and levels of participation, individual results will vary. Nina cannot guarantee a specific final aesthetic, level of confidence, editing speed, business or financial outcome, or other particular result.

Your results will depend in part on your participation, implementation, creative decisions, and the work you bring into the program.

10. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

You remain responsible for your own creative decisions, business decisions, client work and implementation of anything discussed in the program.

Feedback and education provided through The Editing Style System are intended as guidance, not as a requirement that you make any particular editing, creative or business decision.

11. RESPECTFUL PARTICIPATION

Participants are expected to engage respectfully with Nina and other members of the cohort.

Nina reserves the right to remove a participant from the program for serious or repeated violations of this Agreement, including breaches of confidentiality, harassment, misuse of program materials, or behavior that materially disrupts the group.

Removal for violation of this Agreement does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund or release the participant from any outstanding payment obligations.

12. EDITING SOFTWARE

The Editing Style System is primarily taught using Lightroom Classic, and most technical demonstrations and lessons will be shown there.

Participants who use Capture One are still welcome to participate. Nina will make reasonable efforts to help translate editing concepts and approaches across platforms when possible, though specific tools, settings, and workflows may differ between programs.

13. PREPARATION + PARTICIPATION

Participants may be asked to complete onboarding questions, inspiration exercises, image submissions, or other preparation to support coaching and feedback throughout the program.

Participants are responsible for completing requested preparation and understand that their individual experience and results may be affected by their level of participation, preparation, and implementation.

14. SCHEDULE CHANGES

Nina will make reasonable efforts to provide The Editing Style System according to the communicated schedule.

If a live session must be rescheduled due to illness, emergency, technical issues, or other circumstances outside Nina’s reasonable control, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably possible, and an alternate session or comparable form of delivery will be provided.

15. RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES

Participation in The Editing Style System does not create an employment, partnership, agency, joint venture, or other business relationship between Nina and the Participant beyond the coaching and educational services described in this Agreement.

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT + CHANGES

These Program Terms, together with the applicable payment terms or payment schedule, represent the understanding between Nina and the Participant regarding participation in The Editing Style System.

Any material changes or exceptions to these Program Terms must be agreed to in writing by both parties.

By enrolling in The Editing Style System and completing payment, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review and agree to these Program Terms.
